Royal School, Armagh

We meet once every Friday, and each meeting usually follows the same pattern with an opening and closing prayer, a couple of choruses and the main feature of the day, not forgetting Mr. Hooks’ ‘couple’ of words of wisdom at the end.

Apart from the meetings on Friday the SU also organises a weekend for both juniors and seniors; a barn dance; carol singing and a dinner dance. There are also short meetings during either break or lunch time for each year group as well as prayer meetings on Wednesday morning and after SU on Friday afternoon.

The SU enjoys great numbers and we hope that with God’s help we will continue to grow. We ask for your continued prayers and support as we attempt to provide a witness in the school and help the young people grow in their Christian faith.
