A Caring Department

The Staff in the Mathematics Department are committed to helping pupils attain their full potential in mathematics. In pursuit of this aim, pupils studying for CCEAKey Stage 3 Mathematics, GCSE Mathematics and Additional Mathematics may obtain help after school.

Pupils studying for EDEXCELGCE A/S and A levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics may come for help in their study periods as well as after school.

ICT

SmartBoards
The use of SmartBoards has proved to be effective in the teaching of mathematics; ICT is at the teachers' fingertips in the classroom. Two Maths classrooms have data projectors and SmartBoards and a third classroom with a data projector and Smartboard is available to all departments. (We now have six data projectors being used in classrooms)
