The Library is situated in the old historic area of the school.
Honours boards on the walls, which carry the names of students who have gone before, compliment bright, comfortable surroundings.
The library is a focal point for the many visitors from home and abroad who visit the City of Armagh each year.
A warm, friendly welcome awaits everyone wishing to avail of the many facilities available. These include:
A fully automated Library catalogue of 8,000 books
Reading lists for Yrs 8,9,10
Comfortable seating and large tables for study / relaxed reading, multi-media computers with Internet & printing facilities
Large selection of CD-ROMs, audio tapes, newspapers, periodicals
Card operated photocopier
Project material request facilities
E-mailing facilities (please book in advance )
Library and information instruction is given by the Librarian during class visits
Class visits may be booked at the beginning of each term by contacting the Librarian
Opening hours
Monday - Friday
9.10am - 12.20pm - Time tabled classes
12.20pm - 2.05pm - Open to all students
2.05pm - 3.25pm - Time tabled classes
3.25pm - 4.30pm - Open to all students
Staffing
Mrs D.Cloughley Librarian is in attendance 9.00am – 4.30pm assisted at lunchtime by Library Committee members from VI form.
