Dear Parent / Old Armachian
A "limited edition" copy of The 1608 Royal Schools published to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the foundation of the Royal Schools by Royal Charter in 1608 has now sold out.
The book contains a section on each of the 1608 Royal Schools. Mr Duncan, a former Headmaster of the Royal School, has done a magnificent job in collating the book and in compiling the section on the Royal School, Armagh.
The book has been heavily subsidised and is a handsome publication which would be worth about £25 in a bookshop.
